Visilent is dedicated to protecting the privacy of our users, as
part of our overall commitment to providing a quality web site
and service experience for our users. We will endeavor to preserve
the privacy of your information that is not publicly posted on
the site, and use it only as set forth herein.
As you use the Visilent web site ("Site")
and the services we offer ("Services"), you will provide
us with information in a variety of ways, which we may use internally
and/or disclose to third parties. In addition to the personal and
contact information you provide when you register to create your
account, you may provide other information about yourself, such as
a jobseeker's CV, a potential employer's company profile or job postings,
or a recruiter's candidate's qualifications. Obviously, these postings
will be accessible by other registered users. Additionally, if you
enter any of our contests, participate in message boards, user polls,
chat, ecommerce, or other areas of the Site, you may provide additional
information about yourself. Finally, as part of our efforts to improve
the user experience, we track each user's use of the site and connected
sites on an anonymous basis.
In addition to the information we collect, our partners or advertisers
may collect information that you provide in connection with a co-branded
page, such as a partner-sponsored contest on the Site. In such cases,
the information is the property of the sponsoring partner, as well
as Visilent. Additionally, if you provide information to a web site
that is linked to the Site, the information is the property of the
linked site's owner - and may be used as outlined in that site's
or disclosure of information gathered in this manner and any inquiries
concerning its use should be conveyed directly to such third party.
Visilent does not necessarily recommend or endorse the services
or goods offered by any co-branding partner, advertiser, or linked
Disclosure and Use of Aggregated Information
We may collect, analyze, and disclose to others aggregated information
(which includes your specific information but only as an unidentifiable
part of the aggregate) gathered from overall use of the Site or
particular features or areas of the Site.
Disclosure and Use of Specific User Information
We will not disclose your personal information (such as contact information),
or information about your individual use patterns, to others except
as specified in this Policy.
We may disclose specific information (such as identity and contact
information) if we believe that such disclosure is necessary or desirable
to: (i) fulfill legal or regulatory requirements, (ii) protect our
rights or those of others, (iii) prevent or mitigate harm or damage
of any kind or nature, or (iv) address or seek redress for a violation
When you sign up with our Site and/or Service, you may receive automatically-generated
email instructions or notifications produced by your use of the Site.
These emails are meant to ensure you obtain key job or candidate
information in a timely manner.
As a valued candidate or business client, you may also receive additional
phone calls or emails from us in order to assist you in finding the
right position or finding the right candidate.
From time to time, we may contact you about changes to the Site
or about Visilent products or services that may be of interest to
you. We may also permit our partners to contact you directly about
their own products or services. You may stop the delivery of these
promotional emails by following the instructions contained in the
particular email solicitation you wish to block.
Disclosure of Job Requisitions
If you are an employer, Visilent allows you to create a job requisition
and post it to candidates within our database. This makes your
requisition viewable to Visilent-registered candidates who search
the site for applicable vacancies. Additionally, if you would also
like to see agency candidates, you can post your requisition to
Visilent staffing agency partners that you have indicated as preferred.
This enables these companies to submit candidates to your requisition.
Finally, you may also post your requisition to the Visilent public
Web site and to all Visilent staffing partners.
Disclosure of Resumes/CVs
If you are a candidate that has an email address, Visilent allows
you to create an online account by providing your name and creating
Policy. You may supplement this account with more specific information
on your qualifications, job preferences, and availability (your “Profile”),
as well as contact information and a CV. This information will
be stored in our candidate database and will automatically include
you in the consideration of candidates for current job openings.
Additionally, employers and recruiters who search our profiles database
will be able to see and download your CV and job preferences. They
will not be able to see your contact information unless they so request
and you expressly consent. (Visilent , of course, will be able to
see all the information you provide in connection with the Site and
Services.) Visilent cannot be responsible for any user's or other
third party's use, reproduction, or disclosure of your CV or any
information contained therein.
You may also search our database of job opportunities without creating
a profile. However, should you desire to apply for a position, you
will be required to register with us and create your Profile and
provide contact information at that time.
We strive to limit access to our database to registered users. These
are candidates who elect to create an online account or employers
or recruitment agencies who have agreed to partner with Visilent.
However, no verification or security system is foolproof. Therefore,
we are not responsible if someone impersonating a candidate, employer
or recruiter manages to circumvent our security measures and gain
access to the database, including your information, nor can we
be responsible for any use, reproduction, or disclosure they may
make of it.
Disclosure upon Sale or Merger
If Visilent, or one of its lines of business, is sold or otherwise
acquired by a third party, your information may be (i) disclosed,
under duty of confidentiality, to a potential purchasers or merger
partner as part of the pre-closing due diligence process, or (ii)
included among the transferred assets.
Passwords and Account Access
When you complete account registration, you will be asked to specify
a password. Only you will know your password. You will also select
a password hint. If you lose your password, you can call Visilent
and ask us to reset it to a temporary password. We will verify
your identity by asking you some questions regarding information
contained within your CV. Upon successful answer, we will provide
you with a temporary password. You can use this to access your
account. It is strongly recommended that you change your password
again at this time.
Your account may also be accessed as follows:
If you are a Candidate, your account may be accessed by an Visilent
representative or administrator to assist you with the job search
If you are a Hiring Company User, your account may be accessed by
an Visilent representative to assist you with the hiring process
or with administering the Visilent application.
We provide you with the opportunity to give us feedback on the Site
and Services. Any feedback you submit will become the property
of Visilent. We may use this feedback for marketing or other purposes
(such as publication of success stories, or implementation of user
suggestions), or we may contact you for further feedback on the
Site and Services.
To improve your experience with the Site, Visilent uses "cookies". "Cookies" are
elements of data sent from the Site to your computer and stored on
your computer's hard drive. These devices improve efficiency by permitting
the Site to retain information (like log in information) that it

input it again. They also permit the tracking of your movements on
the Site, which provides us with valuable information concerning
